State Farm Agent seeks candidate to facilitate the continued growth of his agency with the opportunity for you to start the agency program through State Farm. This position will market and sell insurance and financial services with primary emphasis on auto, home and life insurance to new and existing customers.

THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL INSURANCE SALES POSITION. You will enjoy unlimited earning potential with a combination of base salary plus an aggressive bonus structure while learning the business with the opportunity to start the agency program through State Farm, if desired. Its a chance to see if owning your own State Farm agency is right for you.

In this position you will:
Learn how to run a successful agency while participating in our extensive training program
Sell auto, home, and life insurance to consumers from the number 1 insurer of autos and homes
Actively prospect for new customers through relationship building, community based networking and other marketing activities
Generate new business opportunities through company leads, networking, obtaining referrals and marketing calls
Conduct meetings with customers to customize a State Farm program to meet their needs
Participate in on-site prospecting activities at community and employer events
Work in a professional sales environment

Sales experience is a plus
Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
Licensing in Property & Casualty and Life & Health or ability to obtain the required licensing
