Retail broker-dealer located in Melville, Long Island seeks an energetic and detail oriented Operations Associate.
Responsibilities will include the following:
**Trade processing
**Opening new accounts
**Cashiering (processing check and wire requests)
**Telephone support for registered representatives
Knowledge/Skills A+++
Pershing clearing firm knowledge
Series 6, 7 or 24 licenses, or willingness to acquire a plus
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ideal candidate is a self starter with the ability to work independently as well as communicate with other team members
