We are looking to add a Project Manager who will be responsible for on-boarding new clients and managing both internal and external teams. Project Managers must have client facing skills and experience creating, overseeing and managing the successful completion of projects against scope definition, timeline, budget and quality of deliverables.
Responsibilities:
· Lead engagement teams in conducting strategic analyses of our client's operating models, processes, applications and infrastructure and formulating strategic recommendations and roadmaps.
· Create and develop project plans and work programs, timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents.
· Provide high quality client service by driving daily progress of engagement work, informing leadership of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
· Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members.
· Ensure the successful completion and implementation of projects which includes achieving customer milestones on time and on budget.
· Scope, plan, create, and maintain development project plans with focus on resource management, project milestones, and deliverables
· Work with Client Managers and internal project team to ensure a consistent approach and client satisfaction
· Manage multiple projects concurrently and successfully
· Manage and maintain all appropriate supporting project documentation including Project Status Reports, Project Change Requests, Risks and Issues, etc.
· Ensure a successful and smooth transition of clients to their appropriate relationship services team for ongoing support
Qualifications:
· A bachelor's degree in engineering, accounting, finance, computer science or a related field MBA or MS degree preferred
· 8-10 years of related work experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the financial services industry or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company; preferably with a strong consulting background in banking, asset management, capital markets or insurance
· Understands a Project Management Methodology and tools; PMI certification is a plus
· Fluency in Microsoft Project
· Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
· Ability to travel up to 25%
